Notifications
Announce new videos and streams in your server
Posts automatically in your server when a creator you follow uploads or goes live, and separately announces free-game giveaways — set it up once with the channel and who to follow, then leave it alone.
Turning it on or off
Every server chooses for itself — switch Notifications on or off from your dashboard, under Integrations. When it's off: no upload or stream alerts will be posted.
Setting it up
- 1
Add a creator to follow
/notifications creators add— pick the platform and the channel it posts to. - 2
Add filters if the creator posts a lot of unrelated content
Keyword and category filters keep alerts relevant instead of firing on everything.
- 3
Turn on free-game alerts and pick platforms
Independent of creator alerts — you can run either, both, or neither.
Creator alerts
Works with YouTube uploads and Twitch streams. Each followed creator can be filtered — by a title include/exclude pattern, required or forbidden keywords, a minimum stream/video duration (so a two-minute test stream doesn't ping your whole server), and for Twitch specifically, a required game/category — so you only get notified for the content you actually care about from that creator, not everything they post.
Free game alerts
Watches for free-game giveaways across Epic, Steam, GOG and other supported storefronts, with a platform allow-list so you only hear about the stores relevant to your community.

Tips & things people get wrong
- A short delay between something going live and Hez posting about it is normal — that's the underlying platform's own API lag, not something Hez can post faster than.
/notifications creators listis the quickest way to audit what's actually being followed if alerts feel like they're missing something or posting too much.
