Server Stats
Show live member counts in your channel list
Live numbers in your channel list — member count, online count, boosts and more — each one a voice channel nobody can join, whose name is the number itself and updates on its own.
Turning it on or off
Every server chooses for itself — switch Server Stats on or off from your dashboard, under Voice & Insights. When it's off: your stat channels will stop updating.
Setting it up
- 1
Add your first stat channel
/serverstats addwith a template from the placeholder list. - 2
Preview before committing
/serverstats previewshows the rendered name without creating anything yet. - 3
Turn on the weekly digest if you want a periodic summary
Pick the channel, weekday and hour it should post.
Placeholders
Every stat channel's name is a template with placeholders swapped for real numbers — /serverstats placeholders lists everything available, and /serverstats preview shows exactly what a template will render as before you commit to it.
Update pacing
Discord limits how often a single channel can be renamed, so stat channels refresh every few minutes rather than instantly — a member joining won't bump the count the very same second, and that's a Discord platform limit, not a delay Hez introduces on purpose.
The weekly digest
Separately from the live channels, an opt-in weekly digest posts a summary to a channel you pick on a day and hour you choose — a recap rather than a running counter, useful for a channel your team checks in on rather than glances at constantly.
Commands
Tips & things people get wrong
- Stat channels cost against your server's channel limit like any other voice channel — don't create more than you'll actually look at.
- If a stat channel stops updating, check Module Health first — a deleted channel or a lost permission is the usual cause, and it's designed to surface there rather than fail silently.
